NHS England has launched a new campaign promoting the importance of early cancer detection. The campaign will run across TV, radio, and social media encouraging action rather than fear and worry around cancer checks.

The ads encourage when it’s felt that something is not right, it is best to get it checked out to ease the mind and increase the chance of a good outcome from early detection.

Amanda Pritchard, NHS chief executive, said: “We know that many people don’t want to burden or bother anyone with their health concerns, but we would always prefer to see you sooner with a cancer that is easier to treat, than later with one that isn’t… the NHS is here for you – don’t let cancer play on your mind – get checked without delay.”

One of the campaign videos is posted below. You can learn more about the campaign: NHS England » NHS Chief launches new campaign to combat the fear of Cancer
