Watford is a terrible site

The idea of moving MVCC to the current cramped and dilapidated Watford site is not a good one. It would be much better to place it close by a center of excellence. The difficult to get to and often congested current Watford hospital site simply does not have the facilities available at the current MVCC site. I don't know why hospitals in the past were built on the side of a hill (Watford, St Albans and Hemel) obviously not thinking of those with difficulties walking. The parking at the current Watford site is expensive and very limited.

There is an excellent proposal to replace the dysfunctional and inaccessible Watford hospital with a new build hospital on a new central site for West Herts. If this was to happen and a site found with ample space to include MVCC this sounds the best option.
