Dedicated Care Provided

I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in 2017 and part of my treatment plan I was to attend Mount Vernon Cancer Centre to receive twenty sessions of radiotherapy. First impressions of the building on arrival were that it was very old and not an easy site to negotiate through for patients. That said the equipment and quality of service provided by the trained caring staff was unbelievable, their dedication to their task when meeting people who are all suffering for a variety of different types of cancer is not only heartwarming but incredible pleasing to see, their personal dedication to ensuring that people not only understand the treatment but to also ensure patients are happy and satisfied with the service provided. They are a credit to themselves and to the NHS service provided throughout this Kingdom. Yes they deserve to have more up to date equipment and certainly a more user friendly environment and to be able to offer patients a more modern and comfortable setting to carry out these very important tasks would be excellent. Although I completely understand that this would mean some initial disruption for the staff, clearly the long term benefits are huge and on weigh any initial concerns about moving to a newer modern environment.
