We are arranging a range of online events to enable patients, carers and the public to contribute towards the development of Mount Vernon cancer services.
After registration, you will be sent a link to the Teams or Zoom meeting – along with simple instructions explaining how to join the meeting via the invite from your device.
The topics being covered by the online events are –
Cancer Services Review Update – an opportunity to learn the latest about the review, and put questions to the team leading the review and the consultation process. You can register here
Breast Cancer Pathway – for past and present Breast Cancer patients, their carers and family – what works, what doesn’t work and how can the service be improved. You can register here
Head and Neck Cancer Pathway – for past and present Head and Neck Cancer patients – what works, what doesn’t work and how can the service be improved. You can register here
Prostate Cancer Pathway – for past and present Prostate Cancer patients – what works, what doesn’t work and how can the service be improved. You can register here
Haematology Oncology Pathway – for past and present Haematology Oncology Patients – what works, what doesn’t work and how can the service be improved. You can register here
Mount Vernon Estate – for people living in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, North West London and Thames Valley, especially those who are being, or have been treated at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, or their carers – in delivering an improved service for patients, what are the advantages and disadvantages of the possible alternative locations and structures. Satellite Radiotherapy Centre – for those who live in central and northern Hertfordshire, and southern and central Bedfordshire, what should we look for in deciding on a possible location for a second radiotherapy centre in addition to Mount Vernon. You can register here
Cancer Pathway Focus Groups – Feedback and Updates – A workshop style event where you can hear what patient views we have gathered, and how we are using those views. You can add comments, and if you were unable to participate in any of the events, you can give your views on the subject that interests you. We will also talk to you about the next steps in the review, when you might hear what the options will be, and how you will be able to give your feedback on those options. You can register here
