i just want to put the whole thing behind me

im not surprised there are no stories , before my experience i would not have understood why people dont want to take part ,i was asked to join a focus group about 8 months post mastectomy and post chemo and radiotherapy .it was too raw too traumatic and i wanted an end to the whole "patient experience ".

i suspect thats why there are no stories ,i can write about it now, but i choose not too , we are all different but something so deeply affecting is not going to be regurgitated so easily .

maybe a diary which is kept during treatment and could be handed in voluntarily might be more useful
